  1. AMTOR Channel Commands
  2.  
  3. Type any of the following commands on a new line and end with
  4. either (CR/LF) or the + ? sequence (but not both).  If you do not
  5. use the + ? sequence the system will change the direction of the
  6. link for you when it recognizes a valid command. 
  7.  
  8. H or HELP - Send the help file
  9.  
  10. CNCN - Cancel whatever is in progress. (Usually a message you are
  11.        entering into the system)
  12.        
  13. LOGIN (your call) - Logs you in
  14. LOGON (your call) - Same as LOGIN
  15.  
  16. L - List all available messages in the system, not including
  17.     bulletins (see note)
  18. L (number) - As above equal or greater than (number) 
  19. LTO or LM - List all messages to you
  20. LTO (call) - List all messages to (call)
  21. LFM - List all messages from you
  22. LFM (call) - List all messages from (call)
  23. LT - List all NTS messages
  24. LB - List all general interest bulleting (see note)
  25. LB (number) - As above equal or greater than (number) 
  26. LR - List users who have logged on in the past 24 hours 
  27.  
  28. NTS - List all unforwarded NTS messages
  29.  
  30. RN or RM - Read all new messages addressed to you 
  31. R (number) - Read message (number)
  32. RH (number) - Read message (number) including routing headers
  33.  
  34. SP (call) - Send a message to (call), end with NNNN 
  35. SB (name) - Enter a bulletin with (name), end with NNNN 
  36. SB (name) AT (route) BID (bid) - Enter a bulletin with (name) at
  37.             (route) with a bid of (bid)
  38.  
  39. SP (call) AT (route) - Send a message to (call) to be forwarded
  40.    via (route)
  41. ST (zipcode) AT (NTS statecode) - Send an NTS message (use       
  42.    accepted NTS subject and message format)
  43.  
  44. NNNN - End a message.  Must have been started with SP, SB, or ST. 
  45.    
  46. CANCEL (number) - Cancels message (number) if originated by you
  47.  
  48. T - Talk to the sysop
  49.  
  50. I - Information about this ststem
  51.  
  52. V - Read version number
  53.  
  54. A - (After seizing the link) Abort a file being received
  55.  
  56. LOGOUT - Logs you off
  57. LOGOFF - Same as LOGOUT
  58.  
  59. /// - Anywhere on the line cancels the line (except in messages)
  60.  
  61. NOTE: The L, and LB commands will only list messages you have not
  62. previously listed.  Follow the command with a number to override
  63. this feature.  Use 0 to list all messages in the category.

  65. Here are some special commands for the expert user:
  66.  
  67. EXPERT - Toggles the 'EXPERT' mode
  68. ASCII - Toggles the full ascii character set mode.  Do not 
  69.    use this command unless your system is compatible with the full
  70.    ascii protocol.
  71. RI - Reads the MBO's intercept file
  72. RF - Reads the MBO's AMTOR autoforward routing file 
  73.    Note: RI and RF are available to other MBO's only
  74. F - (After seizing the link) Abort a file being received and mark
  75.    it forwarded if it is for you.  (This is for use with          
  76.    duplicate messages.)
